Hall on alert for niggle

26/07/2008 1:22:29 AM

AS ONE of the game's leading defenders, Craig Bolton knows how to stop an opponent and he believes Barry Hall must be wary of Adelaide niggling him tonight at the SCG.

While Crows coach Neil Craig said he wouldn't want his players to use Hall's recent troubles to unsettle the Sydney forward, Bolton said Hall should be prepared for it to crop up.

"I guess he's one of those players that's always been niggled, so you expect it to a certain degree," Bolton said. "I don't know how much Adelaide will go out of their way to upset him, but that's something he's going to be really wary of.

"It's great for us to have him back, it's going to be a big lift for us, but we won't be expecting anything special."

Craig told AAP: "I certainly don't expect and wouldn't want our players to use Barry's personal situation. I don't think we need that tool at all."
