 My kid's a star

My kid's a star

Rosehill mum Kristina and her daughter TJ, 10, made their first appearance on national television last night.

They're assured of at least one more showing after surviving the premiere of Channel Nine's reality series, My Kid's A Star.

Last night's episode introduced viewers to ten parents determined to turn their children into household names.

The pushy parents and their questionably talented children occupy a single house as they compete for $50,000.

Former US child star Danny Bonaduce, who shot to fame in The Partridge Family, was a special guest judge last night.

He joined leading talent manager Max Markson and Marki Costello, the American owner and president of Creative Management Entertainment Group.

The judges will eliminate one child/parent team from the competition each week.

What did you think of last night's episode and the spotlight hungry parents?

Who is your favourite child/parent team?
